About

THE BRAND
“Our collections are designed for the woman who engage in a holistic life, focused on wellbeing, quality and purpose.“
All products are made with the highest quality leathers and textiles, and are designed for longevity. Each season offers new variations to refresh the wardrobe and not replace it.
Mari launched the label in 2016, and today presents her collections four times a year at New York and Paris Fashion Week. Over the past 5 years, the brand has grown a loyal following of industry leaders and aesthetes who share her passion for purity of design.

THE FOUNDER
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Mari has been interested in the power of design from a young age. Based in NYC since 2010 where she graduated from the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology, she draws from her Brazilian background and her interest in the multitude of art and cultural facets to create her distinguished collections.

THE WOMEN
The Mari Giudicelli woman is free, sophisticated, confident and sensual.
She is a traveller, an unafraid explorer who enjoys remarkable moments and collects objects and inspiration throughout her many adventures.

SUPPLY CHAIN & MANUFACTURING
We believe in building respectful, mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with our factories and suppliers, based on the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Since collection #1, we’ve been working with a 3rd generation family owned factory in the rural farmland outside of São Paulo. Any leftover fabric or leather scraps are donated to Franca NGO, a non-profit that empower women through arts and crafts.

SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We choose to work with long lasting materials, and we are always searching for new technologies that can optimize our design and production methods.
Our leather manufacturers are assessed via the Leather Working Group (LWG) Environmental Audit Protocol. The Leather Working Group is an international, not-for-profit membership organization responsible for the world’s largest leather sustainability program. We aim to source only from tanneries that are members of the Leather Working Group by the end of 2021.
Our leathers are not chrome-tanned, meaning no harmful chemicals are used or toxic waste are generated.
Our packaging is made of unbleached post-consumer waste, and it's easy to be broken down and recycled again.

LOCAL PHILANTHROPY
We work with Conservation International on their local initiatives in Brazil, such as the Amazon Forever campaign where we contributed proceeds of our sales to provide PPE & medical supplies to the most rural areas in Brazil. Protecting the indigenous people of the Amazon is critical to preserving and nourishing the rainforest.
